Follow my progress on the trail

At the time of this writing I’m still hanging around in Oslo, but my planned starting date from Campo has been forwarded to May 4th and is just over a week away now. I’m stoked!
I know that a lot people are interested in following my progress on the Pacific Crest Trail, and I will of course do my best to keep you updated as I go along. Beneath you find a Google Map showing my last known waypoint on the PCT. I plan on updating it every time I pass through a place where I can get WiFi and internet, at least once a week I hope.

UPDATE September 03, 2012: Monument 78 a.k.a the northern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail on the US/Canadian border. 2660 miles done. I’ve completed my thru-hike of the PCT. It’s all great!

This is my tentative schedule for the PCT. Estimated arrival times are based on an average hiking pace of 32 km (20 miles) per day and are recalculated according to actual arrival times as I go along. In case you are wondering why some ETA’s don’t seem to match up with days between resupply points, that’s because both ETA’s and days between points are rounded to the nearest “full” day.
