Hiking through the North Cascades

On August 15th I crossed the Bridge of the Gods and entered into Washington together with Dude, RestStop, Not A Chance, Croatian and Aquaman. So far the trail had treated us well, but entering Washington we all wondered if we were now about to experience the infamous Cascades weather, and that we would end up finishing the hike in rain. It turned out to be quite the opposite. My hike through Washington coincided with the longest dry spell in the Northwest since 1951, and I blazed through Washington without a drop of rain! To me Washington was one of the most beautiful sections of Pacific Crest Trail. The grand finale! I finished at the Canadian border on September 3rd, 4 months after starting off from the Mexican border. Here are the photos from this section.
